Silk screen printing is a printing technique that utilizes the principle of ink passing through the mesh of a screen printing plate where there are graphics or texts, while areas without graphics or texts prevent ink from passing through. Screens come in different thicknesses, also known as mesh counts, with higher mesh counts resulting in finer prints, thinner ink, and higher printing accuracy. For thicker ink coverage, screens with lower mesh counts are used, although they are not suitable for fine printing due to potential fuzziness, often used for solid colors or large-area halftone products. Due to the flexible nature of screen printing screens, the range of printable materials is extensive with almost no limitations. However, screen printing can only print one color at a time, which makes the process relatively slower, and the output may not be as high. Nevertheless, it can print in CMYK or any PANTONE color, and changing colors and materials is relatively easy, making it suitable for small to medium-sized orders and diy screen printing.

Screen printing produces thick layers of ink with a strong three-dimensional effect. Additionally, some screen printing inks are professional outdoor weather-resistant inks, offering UV protection for approximately 3-7 years, a feature unmatched by other printing methods. Screen printing inks come in two forms: natural drying and UV lamp drying. Due to the relatively poorer outdoor UV resistance of UV lamp-dried inks, Liyantian exclusively uses natural drying inks for screen printing, resulting in stronger UV protection for outdoor stickers, maintaining vibrant colors for an extended period.

Arrange the screen printing stickers on the same needle line to ensure their positions are consistent. Then, create an outline die-cut board based on the printing position of the stickers, ensuring that each sticker can be accurately cut into the desired shape during die-cutting. Next, adjust the pressure of the die-cutting machine according to the printing needle position of each sticker to ensure that the stickers are not damaged or deformed during cutting. Place the prepared sticker prints into the die-cutting machine and adjust the pressure of the cutting machine based on the size of the stickers and the dimensions of the dies to ensure cutting quality and precision. Additionally, it’s important to note that different types of die-cutters (such as half-cut and full-cut) may require different materials and pressures, so it’s essential to pay attention to these details when producing goods to ensure that the final products meet quality standards.
